Warm Weather Shipping Policy
Chocolate is delicious but delicate — especially during the summer.
To ensure your chocolate treats arrive in the same beautiful condition created in our kitchen, we have special warm-weather shipping protections.
We carefully pack chocolate orders with ice packs in an insulated liner and limit transit time to 2 days or less.
These protective measures significantly increase shipping costs from May through September. Depending on destination and package size, shipping can range from $30 to $60. We know shipping can feel expensive, but trust us, these precautions help prevent melted chocolate and protect the quality of your order.

Box Styles:
Our Classic box is made of lightweight cardboard. The matte-finish silver base and matte-finish white lid are two separate pieces when opened. The classic box comes with a silver Capital Candy Jar sticker in the lower corner of the lid and is tied with an orange satin bow.
Our Luxury box is made of heavy, rigid cardboard. This glossy white box's lid and base are all one piece, and the lid has a magnetic closure. The Capital Candy Jar logo is embossed in silver in the lower corner. The box is tied with an orange satin bow. Many recipients will save this and reuse it long after they enjoyed the treats inside!
